CHEM 122 General Chemistry II - Equilibrium to Electrochemistry (Lab) (4)
Concepts explored include conceptual and quantitative treatments of intermolecular forces, physical properties of solutions, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibria, acid-base equilibrium, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry. Primarily designed for students with interest in the physical and life sciences. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory. The associated laboratory illustrates the lecture topics, emphasizes quantitative measurements, and develops analytical techniques. Not open to students who have received credit for CHEM 120, 150, or 151. Prerequisite: CHEM 121.
