To understand the performance of their businesses better, to make better decisions, and to drive growth, entrepreneurs must understand finance, accounting, and tax. This course introduces student entrepreneurs to the financial, accounting, and tax theories, knowledge, and tools needed to start, build, and finally harvest successful business ventures. With these theories, knowledge, and tools, each student entrepreneur will possess the fundamental knowledge to analyze and make sound financial decisions for a start-up venture and to monitor that venture’s financial health with its various life-cycle phases.
